Kernels be like : Soldiers Fire!!!
4:39 Arnold Schwarzenegger's cousin on the left 😀
Seems like the Kernel is the John Wick of the computer system
I loved your explanation
Good explanation of a kernel. Thanks for the post.
01:33 Did he say “Windows Phone”? A little dated.
Isn’t a kernel above a major and below a general?
Dos kernal lool

I personally believe that the creation of a whole new operating system from the kernel up is a good idea. Honestly I like the idea of an os that is super simple and allows it to utilize as mich of the hardware as possible.
Gary sucks at explaining
is kernel just the name given to HDL code??
This video is pretty good. I thought he may introduce some complicated name through this video for intruducing the kernel when I opened, but it is not. Every sentence he said is clear and simple, which make people never realise "kernel" can understand.

The whole thing about google etc being able to tweak kernels for better performance 'if they could they would'….uh, no.
If they could, they wouldn't because then they don't get to hold out and microrelease improvements so you keep buying smartphones.
You can guarantee the next iphone will not have anywhere near the operating power it is capable of because they want to sell the next half dozen iphones in a row after that and they need to make improvements on the previous one to get people to buy it. So if they could have iphone 2020 operating power in 2016, they would have simply given you 2017's power first and left the rest for the future updates. It's smart business.
i'm not saying it was aliens but it was aliens

Thanks for the video, helped with my server hired from Datasoft Networks www.datasoft.ws
It's what gets stuck between your teeth when you eat popcorn.
Very well explained! Thanks so much!
So, people talk about "Linux phones." Which is interesting because the popular OS "Linux" is actually GNU, so with that in mind, would Android phones be Linux devices already?
good guy thank you for explaining all this issues.
Your channel is great man! I am an electronics student and we don't get this quality information even though we're working with microcontrollers all the time.
Thank you!
But what happens when I install drivers (like the graphics drivers for example ) after installing Linux? Does installing these drivers modify the kernel?
kentucky fried chicken also has a kernal
TIL my phone has a bonnet. 😜 thanks for a great video seriously though
This gave me kernel panic.
