How to Install Google Chrome on Kali Linux
Kali Linux is based on Debian Jessie.
Go to Google Chrome for Linux page.
Click on the Download Chrome button at the bottom, accept the license agreement, download google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb.
Install prerequisites using (assuming you are logged on as root):
apt-get install -f
Install Google Chrome:
dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb

April 13, 2020It works, BUT who so watches this video needs to be aware at end when appending the code in nano. I changed about 6 lines to match his. The one line he highlighted and a few others around it like fi at the bottom of his screen. Changing my lines to match all of his got it working for me. (Note the indented lines of code too, indentation here are double spaces, a few need 2 spaces at beginning of the line some need 4)

after i put : dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_amd64.deb
then

after i add sudo in front

Come to think of it, this happens for all my packages, tried not using sudo as I'm on root
