Reports are suggesting that Daniel Levy of Spurs will not allow Harry Kane to be sold to a Premier League rival, however pundits suggest that the Tottenham chairman could be swayed should there be an offer of £200m.

In other news, it’s looking more and more likely that wonderkid Jadon Sancho is going to be joining Man United come the next window, but you never know – anything can happen, but the signs look good.

Finally breaking news today, Upamecano of RB Leipzig is reportedly a target of both Manchester clubs in attempt to bolster their defences.

stephen i been ridaculed on many utd pages saying we are crazy if we spend 200mil on him 0 resale value after a 5 year contract, we pay 200m , he needs to run a little more for our team and breaks down half way thro season never to come back, 200 mil , and people think i am crazy, saying he worth 200mil all day , sancho will do better for us 100mil

Imagine rashford Kane and sancho tho… it is very tempting because I still think an injury to rashford or martial will make us struggle

My ideal transfer plan:

Sell: Pogba (£120m) De Gea (80m) Jones, Smalling, Lingard, Sanchez, Andreas (£50m for all five) (£250m money in)

Buy: Sancho (£100m) Koulibaly (£60m) Grealish (£50m) Saul Niguez (£90m) and bring back Dean Henderson in net. (£300m spend)

That way, net spend is at £50m (what we usually net spend in a window).
Henderson is not as good as De Gea (yet) but better at distribution and with the ball at feet, which is essential in modern game. Plus with Koulibaly to further strengthen an already decent defence we'll concede much less anyway.

Pogba is one of the best in the world, but the circus is too much around him and Raiola. Fernandes is insane, and more consistent than Pogba. Then add a classy Saul Niguez to sit deeper and Grealish as very good no10 to the already decent players of Fred, Matic and McTominay and you have a great midfield, with depth.
Then add Sancho to make it six top quality options up front.
In two seasons time, this is a team that could challenge for it all 🔥

Top of the list should be either Auba or Mbappe. Forget Sancho, if we are gonna pay world class player money then at least buy a world class proven player which Sancho isn't.

After seeing the rumors unfold I keep asking myself this question. Why are united trying to sing Grelish? I know he’s a good player but doesn’t he primarily play CAM where Bruno plays? You’d think a player of his quality would want to start to each week and not be a back up

Midfield option. Max Bird from Derby? Plays cdm for Derby with Rooney. Was Captain for U21s similar style to Carrick good on the ball both feet. Would not come straight in but developed over the season and push for a start.
20m Chelsea are looking at him according to papers.

Personally I feel like Sancho for 120m and Saul for 80m would be pretty good business

I actually think a striker is a priority, hence us trying to get Haaland and ending up scrambling around for one in Jan. Ighalo could plug a gap but not the answer and greenwood will continue to develop but not gonna lead the line for a few years

What no one mentions is that for the club what matters is the potential ROI through merchandise sales, sponsorship's and revenue as direct performance on the pitch. So it doesn't matter what the player costs or what his "true value" is, all that matters is; ROI for the club and performance on the pitch for the fans. Both Kane and Sancho will perform on the pitch, but which will have a better ROI? Don't get hung up on the value of the player.

The signing of Sancho will depend on if Pogba is sold, the net spend has gone down the last few years and the Glazers certainly aren't going to spend a fortune after the season didn't finish.

How is striker not that important? We don't have one striker that can be relied upon to put ball in net. We have very over rated strikers! Kaine isn't answer though. It'll just drag on & will never be available at a sensible price.

The EPL’s pendulum is swinging Man Utd’s way and all the top players know it cuz of Bruno, Rashie, Maguire and most of all… Ole.

This team is Sir Alex’s team innit?

Mike Phelan- right hand man
Michael Carrick- his midfielder
OGS- his striker

It’s all these lads know and Alex’s paw prints all over the current Red.

This is why Sancho will come… plus his England mates. Whereas Haaland is connecting with his mentor and his current teammate. These 2 will make Martial expendable and that’ll make me so happy. He’s a lazy sod who’s ambition is to be a glorified cherry picker.

Rotate these 15 lads:

Rashie, Haaland, Greenwood + Ighalo

Bruno, Pogba, Sancho, Matic + McTominay

Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof, Bailly, Tuanzabe + Bissaka

It’s the same number Sir Alex required as well. Everyone else is expendable.

In 15 we trust 🙏🏼

No thanks. Wouldn’t even take Kane for $50 mil. We have Greenwood coming through; and Kane being there will limit his development. Buy Ighalo, as the third striker. We are set in that department.

What we need is a right winger ( Sancho), a defensive midfielder and a right back. That’s all we need. Sure, we could try another CB, but I think we have the cover needed there. For now. Those first 3 positions needs priority. I have a feeling Pogba will stay, now that he knows he’s got Bruno to play next to him. I’m not even sure we need Grealish or Maddison.
Let’s not spent for the sake of spending. Only get what is needed, and then if needs be, use the January window to strengthen the back line.
We don’t need to spend more than $200 on 3 players, let alone one player who really is not worth that much. Let him go to Madrid hahaha

Probably not even that. Sell the deadwood, and technically, we would’ve only spent money on Sancho.
Love your work. Keep it up mate

The market is going to suffer drastically because of the pandemic. Clubs might keep hold of their assets since their value has now decreased. Nobody's going to get reckless and pay the sort of numbers that are being discussed for Sancho. In these trying times for mankind, United are going to get absolutely pummeled if they splashed the cash recklessly on one player.
