Deepin is an amazing Linux distro, which has recently been in news because of privacy reasons. Here, we take an in-depth look at Deepin and compare it side by side with Ubuntu 18.04 in terms of speed, performance, security, stability, gaming, and the looks and feel.
I’ll also talk about the whole Deepin’s user data collection scandal that happened some time ago. It being based in China, and my personal opinion about it.
Deepin is futuristic looking Linux distro which ships with its own desktop environment and a host of homegrown applications. Deepin is a very different take on desktop Linux, right from it’s philosophy to the way it operates. It is a Debian based Linux distro and in this video, we’ll be comparing it side by side with another amazing Debian based Linux distro, Ubuntu 18.04.

April 24, 2020I succesfully managed to install it.It is consuming 27% of my cpu in standby while my window only 4% lol.The original deepin was consuming about 3% of cpu.I think ill wait the ubuntu dde 20 stable.

April 24, 2020Hey buddy, I can't install linux in my laptop(acer aspire5). It has ssd and run on SATA mode RST with optane technology. When I install it, it shows no available space or don't find root file sth (Shows pendrive not harddisk category for partition). Plz make a video guiding.. Esp on acer one ❤️ Can't find a proper solution online too.

April 24, 2020Deepin is not good..I install it on my laptop way back and when it first boot it made a Chinese 3rd class sound which was made by 3rd class chinese phone. From that day I didn't install deepin. As I was in class and it really embarrassed me.
